To use a Time Timer, it is not required to be able to tell time. Time is an abstract concept, that is not clear to everyone. By using the Time Timer, the child or adult can see how much time is left by looking at the colored disk. The time has passed as soon as the colored disk has completely disappeared, and the Time Timer is completely white. Optionally, the Time Timer can produce a beeping sound as the set time has passed. One other big advantage is that Time Timer product are completely silent. The clock mechanism does not tick.
